As specified by the Regulation, effective today, Tesla is recalling a total of 435,132 vehicles sold in China, including 142,277 domestically-made Model 3s produced between December 27, 2020 and November 7, 2022, as well as a total of 292,855 Model Ys manufactured between January 1, 2021 and November 11, 2022.

In dark environments, the occasional failure of the position lights will reduce the vehicles’ visibility to others, and increase the risk of vehicle collision in extreme cases, which is a potential safety hazard.

Vehicles fit in the description will be eligible for an complementary OTA upgrade performed by Tesla.
