Rising Auto officially put the R7 all-electric SUV onto the market on Sept. 27 this year and started delivery in late Oct. Coming with four trim levels, the model features a guidance price range of 302,500 yuan to 369,500 yuan ($42,830-52,310), and is priced between 289,900 yuan to 356,900 yuan ($41,040-50,530) after subsidies.

Positioned as a full-sized SUV, the R7 features a fastback-style roofline, which partly results in a drag coefficient of 0.238Cd. The automaker said the R7 is well-received by users thanks to the Rising MAX "3+1" integrated screen, the RISING OS intelligent cockpit interaction system, the Full Fusion algorithm, and other software and hardware facilities.

Rising Auto has released a policy to cope with the scheduled expiration of the state NEV subsidy plan. According to the policy, customers who put down a deposit before Dec. 31 2022 and get their vehicles delivered before Feb. 28, 2023 can still be granted subsidies as long as their orders meet the conditions for NEV subsidy application in 2022.
