Beijing (ZXZC)- In the first month of 2023, Changan Automobile’s new energy vehicle-dedicated brand, Shenlan, delivered 6,137 SL03 sedans, the automaker announced today.

The decline in sales was partially attributable to the lack of workdays in January, with the New Year's Day and the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays gathered in the month. 

During the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday travel rush, Shenlan set up pilot emergency charging stations in several service areas along the Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway. The iBC digital battery management system armed on the SL03 has been verified by multiple extreme electric safety standards, which guarantee smooth charging and discharging even under harsh environment.

In February, the automaker planned to launch the first major OTA upgrade for the SL03, and the upgrade will be a comprehensive innovation of four major categories, including interactive experience, driving control, noise control, and assisted driving, while adding new applications for users to download and optimized details.

By the end of 2022, Shenlan had opened up 570 order centers in 218 cities across China.
