New spy shots from the upcoming big Foton SUV. The vehicle was caught on a freezing night in Beijing and loox like it feels cold! Very well possible without a proper front, it was -15 Celsius last night… The SUV is code named U201 and will be launched on the Chinese auto market next year.

The U201 is based on the Foton Tunland pickup truck that was launched last year. The SUYV however will be positioned more upmarket. Price will start around 170.000 yuan. Power will come from a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine.

The Foton Tunland. Price ranges from 137.000 yuan to 148.800 yuan. Power comes from a Cummins 2.8 liter turbo diesel with 130hp and 360nm, mated to a 5-speed manual.
