HOZON Auto says monthly deliveries hit new high in Oct. 2022

Shanghai (ZXZC)- HOZON Auto, the Chinese startup owning the new energy vehicle (NEV) brand NETA, announced today its monthly deliveries hit a new high of 18,016 units in October 2022, zooming up 122% from the previous year.

Of the new vehicles delivered last month, 6,295 units and 11,721 units were from the NETA U and the NETA V series, representing a year-on-year hike of 115% and 126%, respectively.

For the first ten months of 2022, the automaker saw its total deliveries soar 161% from a year earlier to 129,206 units.

On October 10, HOZON Auto launched the NETA U-II, a successor of the 2022 NETA U, onto the Chinese market with four trim levels offered. The new product features a post-subsidy price range of 129,800-159,800 yuan ($17,790-21,900).

In addition, delivery of the NETA S will commence in November, resulting in a further expansion of NETA's product lineup.

On October 27, HOZON Auto and NVIDIA formed cooperation, under which the automaker's vehicles will be equipped with the NVIDIA DRIVE Orin in-car computing platform. Besides, HOZON Auto will explore the introduction of the NVIDIA DRIVE™ Thor, NVIDIA's next-generation centralized computer for safe and secure autonomous vehicles, to elevate the AI-enabled intelligence level of NETA-branded vehicles.
