Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese air suspension supplier KH Automotive Technologies (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. ("KASCO") today announced via its WeChat account that the 10,000th Li L9 SUV equipped with its air suspension system has already rolled off the production line.

Up until now, KASCO has supplied Li Auto with nearly 15,000 sets of air suspension assembly, said the auto parts provider.

The Li L9 hit the market in June this year as Li Auto's second mass-produced model. One of the selling points of the model is that its entire series comes standard with air suspension and continuous damping control (CDC) system, of which the air suspension assembly is supplied by KASCO.

It took KASCO one year to realize the volume production and supply of air suspension to Li Auto since the company was nominated as a qualified supplier of the NEV startup, going through a raft of strict procedures, including multi rounds of prototype delivery, chassis tuning, design verification, production validation, and chassis strengthening, according to KASCO.

As the first company in China to achieve the mass production and supply of air suspension for passenger vehicles, KASCO saw its products installed onto VOYAH's FREE SUV and Dreamer MPV before the application to the Li L9.

In 2023, the company will start the supply of its air suspension product to another five vehicle models.

KASCO has a production plant in Huzhou city, Zhejiang province. Covering an area of 97 mu (64,670 square meters), the manufacturing facility features a designed production capacity of 2 million sets of air suspension per year.
