First Generation Lincoln Town Car is a Wedding Limousine in China
Here we have a beautiful first generation Lincoln Town Car, working as a wedding limousine in the great city of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. The first generation Lincoln Town Car was made from 1980 until 1989 and the stretched variants were synonymous with the famous 1980’s greed! Ugly wheel covers of this grey example are definitely after market, likely something Chinese.
This kinda old American limousines are still very popular in China to celebrate weddings and other miserable days. Chinese people, especially down country, think they are classy. Some of these limos are in China since the 1980’s, but most are recently exported second hand from the US. The second generation Lincoln Town Car was powered by a 5.0 liter V8, good for some 200hp depending on specifications.
Oh happy days…
