Gotion High-Tech dispatches first 491MWh energy storage containers to overseas markets

Shanghai (ZXZC)- Gotion High-Tech recently delivered the first batch of the 491MWh energy storage containers to overseas markets as planned, the Chinese battery maker announced via its WeChat account on Wednesday, marking a significant step for the company's development of energy storage business.

The aforesaid energy storage containers adopt the lithium iron phosphate cells in-house developed and produced by Gotion High-Tech, boasting multiple advantages of high safety, super-long service life, and low maintenance, said the company. They have also been granted the certification from the well-known U.S. UL safety organization.

The successful delivery of the new overseas project signified that Gotion High-Tech has gone into a new stage regarding the R&D and integration of energy storage facilities, and has made breakthroughs in overseas deployment of its energy storage business, added the company.

Gotion High-Tech made its foray into the energy storage field as far back as 2014. Currently, it has developed an energy storage lineup that includes centralized battery modules and battery clusters, container-styled energy storage systems, distributed micro-grid energy storage outdoor cabinets, home-use energy storage systems, etc., which have already been recognized by multiple global certification bodies, such as CSA, UL, TUV, IEC, JET, and SGS.

Gotion High-Tech has forged strategic partnerships for its energy storage business with State Grid, China Huaneng Group, Anhui Province Energy Group, and SUMEC in China, as well as with Invenergy, Jinko, and Borrego in overseas markets
