Leapmotor so far delivers over 400,000 vehicles
Beijing (ZXZC)- On July 16, Chinese new energy vehicle maker Leapmotor announced that its cumulative vehicle deliveries have surpassed 400,000 units. The company expects the delivery momentum to continue with delivery of the C16 model commenced in the second half of this year.

On June 28, Leapmotor released its six-seater SUV, the C16, onto the market. This model is available in both battery-electric (BEV) and range-extended (REEV) powertrains, with six variants priced between 155,800 yuan and 185,800 yuan.
The Leapmotor C16 is a flagship mid-to-large-sized SUV, measuring 4,915mm in length, 1,905mm in width, 1,770mm in height, and featuring a wheelbase of 2,825mm.
In terms of performance, the C16 REEV offers a battery-powered range of 200km and a combined range of 1,095km under CLTC conditions. The C16 BEV boasts a CLTC-rated range of 520km. Leapmotor claims the BEV models use an 800V silicon carbide fast-charging platform with a maximum charging power of 180kW, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes.
The C16 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8295P chip, providing 30TOPS of AI computing power. It also includes a 15.6-inch high-definition roof-mounted screen for rear passengers' entertainment. The Intelligent Driving version of the C16 is equipped with NVIDIA's Orin X chip and Hesai Technology's LiDAR, featuring a total of 30 sensors, a configuration that is rare in the sub-200,000 yuan market.
