The very first spy shots of the new Haima Family sedan testing in China. The new Family will be launched on the Chinese auto market in 2014. Haima says it will be based on an all-new platform, meaning the Mazda-roots from the current Family will, likely, be gone.

The current Haima Family. Price starts at 76.800 yuan and ends at 98.800 yuan. Lone engine is a 120hp 1.6 mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. The Family competes with fine cars such as the Volkswagen Jetta, Hyundai Elantra, Citroen c-Elysee, SouEast V5 and the Great Wall C30.

Haima is working on a brand-new engine family which will spawn a 1.3, a 1.5 and a 1.8. The Family will likely get the 1.5, no information available yet on horsepower. Haima is also working on a new 6-speed tiptronic transmission but if that goes into the Family is not sure at this moment.
