Here we have a fine Porsche 944 seen on a second hand car market in the great city of Fuzhou in Fujian Province, spotted by our best-friend-on-the-road Peter Xie. The Porsche 944 was made from 1982 until 1991 and was never officially exported to China. We don’t know of any gray market for these vehicles so this one likely came in period via a foreign owned company which could import their own cars from the 1980’s until the late 1990’s. This green example is the first Porsche 944 we met in China but we did see some special old Porsches before, like this Porsche 964 911 RS America and this Porsche 964 911 in yellow.
