Beijing Hyundai fourth-generation Tucson hits market with price starting from RMB155,900
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Beijing Hyundai officially launched the fourth-generation Tucson into local market on November 23. Tailored for Chinese consumers, the new Tucson is priced from RMB155,900 to RMB239,900.
The new model adopts a number of straight, powerful lines in exterior to deliver a sense of firmness and tenacity. At the front face, there is a newly-designed intake grille integrated with split-type LED headlights. Besides, the taillight cluster running through the rear end is quite unmistakable.
Inside, the all-new Tucson boasts a 10.25-inch floating display coupled with an all-around-view instrument panel that elevates the futuristic sense and modernity for the vehicle. The button layout of air-conditioning area below the center console is more compact than that of the existing model.
The Tucson will have Hyundai's HTRAC intelligent all-wheel drive system installed in the fourth-generation for the first time. In addition, the new model also sports Baidu's 2.0 intelligent connectivity system that achieves a smarter human-machine interaction feature and the all-around control over car windows, air conditioner and rear tailgate. Using Baidu's 2.0 system, users can connect the vehicle with the smart home facility and enjoy music anywhere and anytime via the in-house QQ Music.
As for the driving safety system, the new model is fitted with such facilities as LKA (lane-keeping assist), FCW (forward collision warning) and the SVM360° rear parking sensors, etc.
Powering the new vehicle is a 1.6L turbocharged engine that pumps out 130kW and 265 N·m of peak torque, hooked up to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
