Shanghai (ZXZC)- Recently, Dongfeng Trucks, in collaboration with SPIC Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd., held a delivery ceremony for 200 hydrogen-powered vehicles they produced together, along with a signing event for a new order, according to a post on Dongfeng Motor's WeChat account.

At the heart of the bustling activity, 200 Dongfeng vehicles, equipped with "Hydrogen Forerunner" brand fuel cells, were officially delivered, set to serve in the Wuhan area for city distribution, muck transportation, and bulk commodity transportation.

The fleet includes an array of vehicles ranging from the 18-tonne Dongfeng Tianjin trucks to the 31-tonne Dongfeng Tianlong dump trucks and the massive 49-tonne Dongfeng Tianlong tractors. This is the largest scale delivery within the hydrogen energy sector in both Hubei Province and Wuhan city, exemplifying the strategic cooperation between Dongfeng Motor and SPIC Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd.

With strong government support, Dongfeng Company, SPIC Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd., PetroChina, Sinopec, and their partners have collectively built a hydrogen energy industry ecosystem. This collaboration has formed an industry chain including hydrogen fuel cells, complete vehicles, hydrogen refueling stations, hydrogen supply, and vehicle operation. The resultant cluster effect of Wuhan's hydrogen energy industry is beginning to show.

Going forward, Dongfeng Trucks will continue to deepen its cooperation with SPIC Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd. They plan to develop more hydrogen-powered vehicles that meet market demand, promoting the maturity of China's independent hydrogen energy industry chain. All these efforts aim to contribute to the country's high-quality, low-carbon development within the transportation sector.
