Tesla newly adds 32 supercharging stations on Chinese mainland in June

Shanghai (ZXZC)- In June 2022, Tesla newly launched 32 supercharging stations and 120 Superchargers in 25 cities and counties on the Chinese mainland, the U.S. automaker said on July 15.

Up until now, Tesla's charging network on the Chinese mainland has already covered more than 370 cities and regions, including 1,200+ supercharging stations, 8,700+ Superchargers, 700+ destination charging stations, as well as 1,800+ destination charging piles.

In addition, Tesla released a list that includes the names of the new cities in which the automaker plans to bring its supercharging stations in July, including Nanjing, Zhongshan, Taizhou, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Changzhou, Qinhuangdao, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Huanggang, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhenjiang, Dongguan, Jiangmen, Tianjin, Dalian, Benxi, Xi’an, Qingdao, Baishan, Nanning, Hezhou, Chengdu, Yibin, and Kunming.

According to previous data, Tesla's supercharging network has covered all provincial capital cities and direct-administered municipalities of the Chinese mainland, and has also tapped all prefecture-level cities of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hebei, Shandong, Guangdong, Guizhou, and Shanxi provinces.

As of today, Tesla has over 35,000+ Superchargers globally. The significant 35,000th one was launched in Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei province, on June 10.
