In the meantime, ZEEKR launched its brand-new intelligent drive system that enables users to switch among different driving modes and has a distributed traction control system (dTCS), designed only for full electric vehicles. The company said this new system includes signal transmission and a processing rate 10 times faster than most existing systems, bringing computing down to milliseconds. This improves acceleration performance by 31% on harsh road surfaces, or in snow and ice conditions, whilst increasing the maximum controllable concerning speed. The newly updated driving system will give users the option to switch between rear wheel drive, all-wheel drive, and real time adaptive four-wheel drive systems based on the road conditions.
Meanwhile, ZEEKR also introduced its new-generation intelligent cockpit built on the 8155 Snapdragon microchips, offering an all-new interface, faster response, and a smoother human-machine interaction experience. Both existing and new users are allowed to enjoy the new smart cockpit upgrade for free.
In addition, ZEEKR announced it would officially ship the ZEEKR OS 3.0 version from July 19, with several new functions added, including the full-speed active cruise control and “antelope” risk-avoidance, which supports pedestrian/non-motor-vehicle active hedge and large-sized car avoidance, etc.
