BAIC BJEV scores 144.43% YoY surge in H1 2022 sales
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese NEV maker BAIC BJEV produced and sold 1,898 and 3,597 vehicles in June 2022, representing a year-on-year spike of 496.86% and 126.94% respectively, according to the sales results released by its parent company BAIC BluePark New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("BAIC BluePark").
For the first half of this year, the automaker saw its cumulative auto outputs soar 181.97% from a year earlier to 6,082 units, while its vehicle sales amounted to 17,010 units, shooting up 144.43% compared to the same span of 2021.

BAIC BluePark held an online conference on June 20 to elucidate its first-quarter 2022 financial performance. Fan Jingtao, deputy general manager of BAIC BluePark, said on spot that both the showroom traffic and order volume of ARCFOX, the company's premium electric vehicle brand, evidently grew in June compared to the previous month.
Mr. Fan also revealed that BAIC BluePark was teaming up with HUAWEI to advance the introduction of ARCFOX-branded vehicles to the latter’s sales channels.
As for the sales and service network of ARCFOX brand, the automaker has already deployed over 110 sales stores and aims to lift the number to 186 across China by the end of this year, said Arcfox President Wang Qiufeng.
