Shanghai (ZXZC)- Shanghai-based fuel cell supplier HYPRIN announced on August 15 the beginning of the strategic cooperation with SANY Group, Qi Hang Auto, and Suzhou King Long to co-work on the R&D and production of hydrogen-powered vehicles.

Through the cooperation, HYPRIN's 120kW fuel cell engines will be installed onto the vehicles from the three partners, aiming to enhance vehicles’ running efficiency by virtue of fast response and outstanding power performance.

Besides, the company's fuel cell engine is well adapted to different environments thanks to its self-heating fuel cell stack.

Prior to the latest move, HYPRIN's engine products have been adopted by Dongfeng Motor and CRRC in their commercial vehicle models. The company has already jointly developed fuel cell buses with such firms as CRRC Times Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. and Sunlong Bus.

While announcing the strategic collaboration, HYPRIN officially launched its latest-generation fuel cell stack “HYLE E160”, which the company said features a long service life and stable working performance.

HYPRIN revealed it aimed to reach an annual production capacity of over 10,000 sets of fuel cell engines and launch a testing center for fuel cell power generation system in 2022.

Founded in 2022 and headquartered in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lin-gang Special Area, HYPRIN focuses on the R&D, production, and sale of fuel cell engines, fuel cell power generation systems, and relevant core components.
