The Chrysler 300C will be launched on the Chinese car market on June 25 and that is a little later than we heard earlier. The 300C debuted with some noise on the Beijing Auto Show last month, Chrysler hopes to cash in on the still growing market for luxury sedans.

Chrysler 300C China

The old Chrysler 300C was made in China, alongside the Sebring, by the Beijing-Chrysler joint venture which died in 2009. The new 300C will be imported which will make it some 25% more expensive than locally made competition from Audi, Benz, BMW and Volvo. Price will start around 500.000 yuan. Fiat has currently no plans to make the 300C in China. Chrysler will strangely only offer the 3.6 V6 while Chinese luxury car buyers would be very happy with the massive V8.
