The significant vehicle just delivered is an ET7 electric sedan. The model saw its scale delivery kick off on March 28, 2022, and recorded a monthly delivery volume of 693 units in April.

The automaker announced last Friday the ET7 would rise on price from May 23 due to the global continuous increase in raw materials prices.

As of April 30, 2022, the cumulative deliveries of NIO amounted to 197,912 units, 30,842 of which were delivered in the first four months of this year.

Aside from the ET7, the company previously revealed it would start the delivery of the ET5 and the ES7 this year. The three models all ride on the NT2.0, NIO’s second-generation technology platform. Meanwhile, the startup also plans to unveil the 2022 NIO ES8, ES6 and EC6 with the latest digital cockpit hardware, and to launch the digital cockpit upgrade plan for existing users.

In 2022, NIO wishes to open more than 100 new sales outlets and over 50 new service centers and authorized service centers.
