Haima Automobile’s 7X-E all-electric MPV to hit market in Q3
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese automaker Haima Automobile is about to launch a new BEV model, named the Haima 7X-E, which will be available for presale in the second quarter of 2022 and formally go on sale in the third quarter this year, according to a post on the automaker's WeChat account.
The yet-to-be-launched model is the all-electric version of the oil-fueled Haima 7X, and also Haima Automobile's first pure electric MPV. Its exterior basically retains the design of the 7X with its waistlines and sunroof inspired by yachts.

The slight difference over the 7X appears on the front end. The 7X-E adopts a sealed-off grille to accentuate its position as a full-electric vehicle, and improve aero efficiency as well.

The automaker said the 7X-E is its first high-end intelligent BEV model released amid the transition towards electrification. Inheriting the 7X's spacious three-row cockpit, the all-electric MPV mainly targets large families, governmental departments, public institutions, managers of small-sized and medium-sized enterprises, car rental service platforms, and car owners engaging in ride-hailing service.
The Haima 7X-E will be equipped with a “three-in-one” electric drive system and CATL’s ternary-lithium battery pack. Powered by the memory parking system co-developed with Baidu, it is capable of such driver assistant functions as APA (automated parking assist), RPA (remote parking assist), and HAVP (Home Autonomous Valet Parking).
