Shanghai (ZXZC)- The China-made Audi Q2L will hit the market on October 13, according to according media. Presale price of the new model ranges from RMB 226,800 to RMB 281,800.

Positioned as a small-sized SUV model, the Audi Q2L retains the exterior design from the existing Audi Q2. The massive intake grille and angular headlights make the front face look unmistakable. The floating roof and fastback body are offered to satisfy young consumers’ tastes.

The Audi Q2L measures 4,229mm in length, 1,785 in width and 1,548mm in height, featuring larger size than that of the Audi Q2 (4,191mm long, 1,794mm wide and 1,508mm high). Wheelbase of the Q2L is extended by 27mm to 2,628mm.

Boasting a rather neat layout inside, the Q2L adopts interior design similar to the outgoing Audi A3 rather than the Audi Q5 or the new Q3. Above the center console is a height-adjustable floating liquid crystal display. Four circular air outlets echo with the ball-shaped gear level, which is in tune with the youthful overall design.

The new model will have these amenities as standard facilities, including a progressive steering system, an ACC (adaptive cruise control), an 8.3-inch liquid crystal display and a panoramic sun roof, etc.

The Audi Q2L will be made in China by FAW Volkswagen. Power will come from a 1.4TSI EA211 engine with two power variants, hooked up to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The maximum powers delivered by two engine variants are 150hp and 131hp respectively.
