The new Ford Focus has finally reached the Chinese car market, more than two years after it debuted at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. The Ford Focus hatchback and sedan are made in China by the Chang’an-Ford joint venture. Price starts at 119.900 yuan and ends at 169.900 yuan.
The China-made Focus is powered by two patrol engines: a 1.6 Ti-VCT with 125hp and 159nm or a 2.0 GDI with 170hp and 202nm. Transmission: 5-speed manual or 6-speed dual clutch. The new 1.6 replaces the old 1.8 which will not return in the new Focus. The engine however ain’t dead yet because it will continue to power the old Ford Focus which will continue as the Ford Focus Classic.
