What a machine! This is the China-only Lorinser S70 super sedan, based on the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG and tuned up to 810hp and 1300nm. Top speed is 330km/h, 0-100 is gone in 3.9 seconds. Booth-persons told me this S70 was a ‘China-only one-off’, painted in a special combination of black and gold for a very wealthy Chinese buyer, prices at 4.5 million yuan, or 716.000 USD.

A friendly booth-lady told me that Lorinser has three dealers on mainland China: in Beijing, Dalian and Kunming. Beijing makes sense, the other two less so. Shanghai, Guangzhou or Shenzhen would be a much better choice. I was especially surprised about the lack of a dealer in Shanghai, everybody is in Shanghai, that is were the money is! So I asked why not, but lady didn’t know. She also said their biggest competitor was Brabus. I told her not to worry…
