JAC Heyue SC Coupe is very red ‘n ready for the Beijing Auto Show
This is the new JAC Heyue SC Coupe, one of the big surprises of the Beijing Auto Show where it will debut tomorrow. Workers are still working on JAC’s booth and fortunately they forgot to hide the fine sportsmachine. The JAC Heyue SC coupe is design-wise based on the TJ Innova S11 concept car that debuted at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show.
There is a small question about its name. On earlier shots we saw ‘Heyue SC’ written, in Chinese, on the license plate. Careful study of the stickers on the door on these new shots however reveals a slightly different name: ‘CS Heyue’. Will the real name please rise? We will know for sure tomorrow…
The Heyue SC will be listed on the China car market this year, price will start from 200.000 yuan. Power comes from a 2.4 with 121kw and 217nm, mated to be 5-speed manual, good for a 205km/h top speed. Best thing: it is rear-wheel drive. Design is an interesting mix of several well-known supercars, including the Mitsubishi EVO, a Audi R8, a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Ferrari F430. Still, I can’t help but like this wild thing very much…
