The first spy shots of a new Youngman-Lotus L5. Current car on the right. Big changes up front for more sportiness and better aerodynamics.  Only a few month ago we saw pics from another updated L5 that looked much more like the current L5. The car on these pics might therefore be an entirely new some sorta sports-model. The new L5 will debut at the Beijing Auto Show later this month.

Current L5. Power comes from a 1.6 with 123hp. Price starts just under 100.000 yuan. The L5 is based on the Malaysian Proton Gen2 and assembled in China by Youngman for the Chinese market. Youngman uses the Lotus-name because Proton is also the owner of the iconic British sportscarmaker.
