GWM mobility brand OLA Sharing to deploy cars in Hebei from Sept. 8
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Great Wall Motor's mobility service platform dubbed “OLA Sharing” will deploy cars in the urban area of Baoding, Hebei Province, where the automaker's headquarters is based, according to local media.
The OLA Sharing has initiated the platform and started to recruit drivers from June, according to a source with the knowledge of this matter.
Reportedly, the OLA Sharing is a new energy vehicle (NEV) sharing mobility brand which is strategically invested by Great Wall Motor. Supported by the automaker's powerful capital strength and strong business modes, the mobility brand focuses on providing consumers with a series of services, such as car sharing, car insurance, designated driving service and car sales, etc., with the ultimate goal of building a smart mobility ecosystem. The ORA iQ, the first model under Great Wall Motor's NEV brand ORA, will be put into use for the mobility platform.
By 2020, the OLA Sharing plans to possess up to 200 thousand cars by 2020 around 200 cities, serving nearly 150 million users. The operator is also ambitious to elevate its market valuation exceeding RMB 30 billion over the next two years and spread roots in global market by 2025, according to relevant sources.
