Official Pics: facelifted Citroen c-Elysee for China
These are the first official pics of the facelifted Citroen c-Elysee for the China car market, it will officially debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April. The e-Elysee is based on the good old Citroen ZX, called Fukang in China, that was made by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture from 1994 until 2008 when its name changed to c-Elysee. A bit more fancy indeed, but underneath it is still a true ZX…
The facelifted car comes with a slightly reworked front, a new more modern looking grill, some changes at the back and around the rear lights, new alloys and an updated interior. The c-Elysee/ZX is still a very popular car in China, despite its age and actually because of its age. Chinese car buyers know it is by now basically faultless and unbreakable. It is cheap to buy and cheap to maintain and goes everywhere. But it ain’t a car to brag about at the bar…
Price starts from 73.800 yuan and ends at 88.800 yuan. Power comes from a 1.6 with 106hp and 142nm. Yez, that engine is as old as the car itself.
