Ford brings back the Ghia name for a super-luxury version of the China-made Ford Focus sedan. The last time Ford used the Ghia-name for the Focus was in Europe back in 2009. The Focus will be made in China by the Chang’an-Ford joint venture, it will be listed on the China car market on March 1 and will officially debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April.
It is the first time the Ghia-name is used for a China-made Focus, it was however used for the previous China-made Ford Mondeo. The Ford Focus Ghia will be powered by a 2.0 with 170hp and 202nm. Price of the Focus Ghia will start around 170.000 yuan. Ford SYNC will be standard on the Ghia and an option on the rest of the line-up.
