The Citroen ZX will never die; facelift for the c-Elysee in China
The good old Citroen ZX has been in production in China since 1994 by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture. It was called ‘Fukang’ until 2008 when its name changed to c-Elysee. Over the years it has been facelifted many times and Citroen is preparing yet another facelift, the new car is expected to debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April.
This is the current c-Elysee. Changes are small; more chrome around the slightly redesigned grille, some changes at the bumper, mirrors a bit different and seems to be about it.
New light clusters, a new chrome strip on the boot lid just above the bumper.
Good to see this oldie will still be around for a while. It is still a popular car, due to its long long development it is basically trouble-free and very cheap to maintain. Price will stay as it was, starts from 73.800 yuan and ends at 82.800 yuan. Power comes from an ancient 1.6 with 106hp and 142nm.
No obvious changes inside.
