These are the very first spy shots of an all naked new Roewe R95, formerly known as the new Roewe 750. As expected the R95 will be sold under the Roewe brand and under the resurrected Shanghai brand. The R95’s will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April.

The Roewe/Shanghai R95 is based on the platform of the Buick Lacrosse which is made in China by the Shanghai-GM joint venture. Design-wise this R95 is a fine looking automobile, front is still a bit Lacrosse but from the B-pillar on things are just different enough. Engines are all GM as well: 2.0, 2.4 and 3.0.
