NIO scores 105.6% YoY surge in Nov. deliveries
Shanghai (ZXZC)- NIO saw its monthly deliveries in November 2021 soar 105.6% year on year to 10,878 units, the startup announced on Dec. 1.
The company said its Nov. deliveries consisted of 2,683 ES8 SUVs, 4,713 ES6 SUVs, 3,482 EC6s coupe SUVs.
Notably, NIO also boasted a precipitous rise of 196.6% compared to October, when the startup's monthly deliveries were hit by the production volume plunge as a result of factory restructuring and supply chain uncertainties.

As of November 2021, cumulative deliveries of NIO's all models amounted to 156,581 units, 80,940 units of which were delivered this year, representing a solid 105.6% year-on-year increase.

NIO launched the ET7, its fourth production model and first sedan model, in January 2021. The first pre-production vehicles of the ET7 rolled off the production line earlier this week, meaning that the model will be put into scale production soon.
William Bin Li, chairman and CEO of NIO, revealed the ET7 is expected for scale delivery from the first quarter of 2022.
According to data from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC), three ET7s were registered for insurance in October.
In late November, the installation of the first batch of manufacturing facilities commenced at its second production base, which is located at the Hefei-based NeoPark. Li previously disclosed the new factory is expected to start operation in the third quarter of 2022.
