iMotion tops off new R&D, manufacturing headquarters in Suzhou city

Beijing (ZXZC)- On September 10, autonomous driving solution developer iMotion Automotive Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. reached a significant milestone with the topping off of its new R&D and manufacturing headquarters.

The facility will focus on the R&D and production of autonomous driving domain controllers and intelligent front-view cameras, significantly enhancing iMotion’s production capacity and manufacturing capabilities. This marks a further step in integrating the company's strategy, R&D, and production.

Located in the southern section of the Listed Companies Industrial Park in Suzhou Industrial Park, the iMotion headquarters covers approximately 26 mu (approximately 17,333 square meters) with a floor area of about 71,000 square meters and a total investment of around 549 million yuan. Construction took just one year from ground-breaking to topping off, and the building is expected to be completed by May 2025.

The new headquarters is designed to support Industry 4.0 smart R&D and manufacturing systems, integrating R&D, process, and production horizontally, and linking enterprise, workshop, and equipment vertically. By employing digitalization, virtualization, IoT, and big data technologies, iMotion aims to create an integrated control environment for process planning, factory planning, and production operations. This will enable efficient and rapid production while reducing costs.

The new facility will enhance iMotion’s capabilities in cutting-edge algorithm and hardware development, system integration, validation, and rapid scaling of mass production. It also sets the stage for accelerating advancements in large models, end-to-end technologies, and expanding new business and market strategies in integrated driving-cockpit solutions and global service networks.
