90% of all Eterniti Hemera’s are bound for China
The Eterniti Hemera is a coach-build super-SUV based on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. It is made by Eterniti Motors from the UK and debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. AutoBlog.com reports today that Eterniti will built 50 Hemera’s in 2012, 90% of those will be shipped to China where it will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April next year.
Will this sell in China? Absolutely. The Chinese market takes the most expensive SUV’s it can get and it takes many of ‘m. When you see a Cayenne it is always the Turbo S, same goes for the X5M and Benz M-AMG. Tuners such as Techart are starting to make inroads in China and with great success.
A coach-build tuner-thing like the Eterniti Hemera will hit just the right spot. It doesn’t really matter what it costs. According to Autoblog price will start around 150.000 pounds (240.000 USD) in Europe. That’ll be around 400.000 dollars in China after all the tax is added. Shouldn’t be a problem…
