The NanoEV is a new member under SGMW's global small electric vehicle (GSEV) platform, which supports the new Baojun E100, E200, E300, E300 PLUS and Wuling Hongguang MINIEV through significant economies of scale and flexibility.
According to the automaker, “Nano” stands for “nanometer”, indicating the model's position as a two-seater mini-sized car. It measures 2,497mm long, 1,526mm wide, and 1,616mm tall with a wheelbase of 1,600mm. It is a bit longer than the Baojun E200. Curb weight of the NanoEV is 860kg.

The new model provides four body color schemes. In the cockpit, the color of the center console, door panels, seats, and other facilities are in tune with that of the car body.
Notably, the Disney Zootopia limited edition has the lettering “Disney” embroidered on the headrests to set itself apart from the other two variants.
All variants of the NanoEV will come standard with the hill-start assist control system, the pedestrian warning system, rear parking sensors, as well as the tire pressure monitoring system.

The car is able to deliver a range of up to 305 km thanks to a 230 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery. It is powered by a 24kW permanent magnet synchronous drive motor that is good for 85 N·m of peak torque.
