As of Jan. 2022, the startup had achieved monthly sales of over 10,000 units for three straight months.

Nonetheless, the EV maker didn't release the sales details of vehicle models.

In early Jan., HOZON Auto saw its 100,000th vehicle roll off the production line, only 42 months after the first one was produced.

The company said the milestone signifies that HOZON Auto has made substantial progress in such capabilities as design and R&D, technique development, manufacturing, quality control, procurement synergy, as well as operation and management.

HOZON Auto's annual deliveries reached nearly 70,000 units in 2021. The volume made it lag behind XPeng, NIO, and Li Auto, but significantly outperform the other two rivals—WM Motor and Leapmotor.

HOZON Auto rolled out two new models last year, namely, the NETA U Pro and the NETA V Pro. While the startup celebrating the birth of its 100,000th vehicle, it revealed the monthly order volumes of the NETA U Pro and V Pro had topped 5,000 and 10,000 units.

The new product HOZON Auto will highlight this year is the NETA S, the first model riding on its in-house developed full-stack platform for automobile intelligence and safety, named “Shanhai”. The model's mass-produced version is likely to go on sale at the end of 2022.
