Hawtai (aka Huatai) has applied for patent on the B21 Sport that debuted as a concept at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. The standard B21 debuted at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show but has still not made it to the market.

It is yet unknown whether the B21 Sport will get a hotter engine, Chinese press thinks it might be a spiced up version of the SAIC 1.8 turbo that powers the bigger Hawtai B11 sedan.
