New spy shots from the Brilliance A3 SUV show an almost ready car. Brilliance planned to show a concept at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. Joint venture partner BMW however got very angry because they thought the A3 looked far too much like the X1. Brilliance pulled the car from the show at the very last minute but it didn’t die.

The front loox slightly different than the car we saw in the first official pics. The A3 is based on the same platform as the Brilliance 530 sedan that will be listed in August. Engines: 1.6 with 118hp and 151nm and likely a 1.5 turbo with 136hp and 200nm.
