Shanghai (ZXZC)- Geely's premium EV brand ZEEKR announced the launch of its EV charging sub-brand “ZEEKR Power” at the Chengdu Motor Show 2021, envisioning an energy supply network composed of large-sized charging stations and multiple practical functions designed to facilitate users' EV charging.

Under ZEEKR Power, each charging station will have six charging piles, which support a maximum charging rate of 360kW. However, details about the building plan have not been unveiled on spot.

To satisfy users' day-to-day charging demands, an array of smart functions will be developed under ZEEKR Power, including App-based one-click charging, making an appointment of charging services through in-car devices, Bluetooth-enabled remote control, as well as plug-and-play function.

Moreover, ZEEKR Power will launch the route planning and navigation function online for its charging map this year. Based on users’ charging behaviors and vehicle information, the function is able to recommend to users optimal charging options in terms of navigation distance, charging time, and electricity bill.

Based on a car's real-time status, the function will be upgraded to give users the most suitable choices of charging stations and charging piles regarding car-pile compatibility, driving distance, charging speed, and battery condition.

In September this year, ZEEKR Power will launch two services, including dispatching mobile charging vehicles and offering door-to-door charging service to ensure energy supply during emergencies. These services are scheduled to tap 50 cities next year.
