Shanghai (ZXZC)- News comes from WM Motor that it held the opening ceremony of WM Intelligent and Connected Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. in Beijing on June 22, 2018, announcing the firm’s first regional headquarter was officially set up, also signifying the firm is expanding its channel.

The newly founded regional office in Beijing, as well as the HQ of Shanghai WM Motor Group in Shanghai, WM Motor Research Institute in Chengdu, Sichuan province and WM New Energy Vehicle Intelligent Industrial Park located in Oujiang, Zhejiang province, forms a comprehensive layout of WM Motor in the R&D, manufacturing and channel.

The establishment of the first regional office signifies the start of expansion of the new retail channel and means WM Motor has taken a more substantial solution in constructing the new intelligent mobility ecosystem.

As planned, WM Motor will first establish the experience center, ‘WM Space’ in first-tire cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Also, the firm will set up the experience sales service center ‘WM Store’ and the maintenance and charging service station ‘WM Store’. In addition, the firm will finally construct the comprehensive and consumer-oriented service network ‘WM Spot’.

The WM EX5 compact SUV, as the first model of this firm, possesses a body dimension of 4585*1835*1672mm and a wheelbase of 2703mm. It can generate a 160kW maximum output and 315Nm peak torque. The model also possesses three versions of mileages as options, being 300/400/460km in the comprehensive condition. The detailed configuration of the WM EX5 will be officially released in July and the model is planned to be delivered to consumers by September 30.
