Qoros Auto partners with another 51 tier-one dealers, deepens cooperation in new retail business
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese automaker Qoros Auto signed cooperation agreements with another 51 tier-one dealers on June 14 after the company achieved a massive year-on-year growth of 366% in Jan-to-May sales.
At the signing conference, Qoros Auto signed a strategic agreement with Yixin Group, a China's online automobile retail transaction platform to conduct in-depth cooperation in new retail channels and business modes as well as automobile financing, etc.
Reportedly, Yixin Group, a listed company on HK stock market, focuses on providing consumers with one-stop automobile transaction solutions based on the intelligent automobile big data transaction system and the database integrating consumers with vehicles.
Qoros Auto set an annual sales goal of 80,000 vehicles in 2018. Although it has only completed 30% of the goal with 23,754 vehicles delivered in the first five months, there is still reason to be optimistic that the company may fulfill its target by the end of this year with the increasingly growing month-by-month sales volume and sales channels.
In terms of the products' planning, Qoros Auto plans to launch its first BEV (battery electric vehicle) model at the end of this year, which is expected to achieve a mileage up to 700km and some applications of intelligent connectivity. In 2019, the company will release its second BEV model. In addition, Qoros Auto is improving its C-class, D-class vehicle and BEV platforms with the aim of widely covering segments of 7-seat SUV, 7-seat MPV and mid-to-large sedan models.
