Geely is working on a stretched version of the new EC8 sedan. The EC8 is 4905mm long, add around 1500mm in the middle and that makes an impressive 6500. No way any government officer can use this sort of limo to go to work, Geely is likely looking for limosine-rental companies and that one rich business man who really likes a stretched EC8, for some reason.

The stongest engine for the EC8 is a Mitsubishi-sourced 2.4 with 156hp, barely enough to get some serious speed out of the normal EC8, this limo so won’t be quick. But, if you rent it for your wedding, why care?, still got many many long years to go…

Anyway. Nice one from Geely, it’ll look great on autoshows and they might sell a few hundred.
