MG will launch the MG6 Saloon at the UK Pavillion on the Shanghai Expo on October 18. The MG6 hatchback debuted last year. Both sixes are based on the Roewe 550 sedan. The MG6 will get an MG’ed front, MG alloys and a slightly more sporty interior.

MG6 hatch. Engine will be the same 1.8 Turbo is in the Roewe 550 and MG6 hatchback. The MG6 is unexpected, MG was to be the sporty one with hatchbacks while Roewe the sensible one with sedans. A MG6 sedan will likely compete mostly with the 550 than with cars from other brands. Both MG6’s will make it to the UK, but there they won’t be bothered by Roewe which will not.
