China’s NEV startup HOZON Auto scores 255% YoY surge in Feb. 2022 deliveries
Shanghai (ZXZC)- HOZON Auto, the Chinese startup owning the new energy vehicle brand NETA, said its monthly auto deliveries reached 7,117 units in February 2022, surging 255% from the previous year despite the market headwinds of the increase in raw materials prices and the coronavirus resurgence.
For the first two months of the year, the startup delivered 18,126 new vehicles in total, representing a 332% hike year-over-year.

As of performance of products, a total of 3,044 NETA U Pros were delivered last month, while the monthly deliveries of the NETA V soared 103% over the year-ago period to 4,073 units.
The NEV maker has already gone into the crucial period before putting its fourth production model, the NETA S, onto the market. Last month, the model sailed through the tests for calibration and controlling stability in cold weather. Amid the tests, the vehicle zipped from 0-100km/h within only 3.9 seconds and passed through a moose test at a speed no less than 80km/h.
In February, the startup shipped 2022's first PIVOT OS OTA for the NETA U Pro to offer users a better experience of voice and human-machine interaction.
Last month, HOZON Auto opened another 22 sales shops in China's 20 cities. As of Feb. 2022, the company had deployed over 80 direct-sale shops in 28 cities of China.
