The all-new SUV model, whose internal code is T19, will retain the Chery's up-to-data iconic design. Besides, the new model may be powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed dual clutch transmission. It will be sold, along with the Tiggo, at price between RMB 70,000 to RMB 100,000.

Last month, Chery Auto launched its intelligent strategy dubbed “Chery Lion”, covering such five areas as autonomous driving, intelligent connectivity, mobility service, intelligent manufacturing and digital marketing. Unlike other companies who focus on product intelligentization, the “Chery Lion” is ambitious to cover the whole industrial chain, including the sectors of manufacturing, R&D, logistics, marketing, mobility, etc.
