The MIIT's records also reveal that the car in the photos will offer both RWD and AWD versions—the RWD is able to sprint from 0-100km within 7.5 to 8.3 seconds, while the AWD only takes 4.5 to 5 seconds. Besides, the 100kWh battery pack may render a range of 637km to 725km.
The new model is expected to be equipped with frameless doors, two electric motors at both front and rear axles, and an air suspension.
On September 6, Lynk & Co officially put the Lynk & Co 06 onto the market. Offered in five variants at one go, the new SUV model is priced at a range of 118,600 yuan (17,364) to 158,600 yuan ($23,221).
As the brand's fifth vehicle model, its advent helps Lynk & Co form a SUV matrix covering the small-sized, the compact and the coupe SUV.
As the smallest one in Lynk & Co's SUV range, the Lynk & Co 06 measures 4,340mm in length, 1,820mm in width, 1,625mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,640mm. It is built on the BMA platform, a modular architecture for B-Segment compact cars solely developed by Geely Auto. Models using the BMA architecture can be equipped with Geely's 1.0TD, 1.4T, 1.5TD, along with hybrid powertrain systems such as PHEV, HEV, or MHEV. Other BMA-based models include the Geely Binyue and the ICON, which feature similar measurements to that of the Lynk & Co 06.
