Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese AI company iFlytek joined hands with China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) to co-build the intelligent vehicle big data development center with the aim of promoting China's intelligent vehicle development.

CATARC has been growing the development capability over high-definition simulation and system integration engineering by centralizing such resources as talents, technical achievements as well as facilities and utilizing its long-term data accumulation. According to the official introduction, CATARC is dedicated to providing services such as project engineering and management, data resources service, internet and periodical, industrial forum and event, quality system certification and training.

During the past two decades, iFlytek has accumulated abundant resources and formed profound merits in AI core technologies, automotive big data and experts. Reportedly, the company had provided over 2.7 million vehicles with its factory-installed products in 2017. In addition, it not only offers intelligent speech interactive system to more than 90% of China branded vehicles, but also proffers speech products and services to some multinational automakers like Mazda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo, etc.

During the past year, iFlytek inked strategic agreements with BAIC Group, GAC Group and Dongfeng Venucia in succession in order to extend in-depth cooperation in big data analysis, intelligent-connected platform, advertisement, marketing innovation, etc.
