The startup also noted it has offered the 180kW DC supercharging service to 12 cities, including Nujiang, Qamdo and Linzhi of Tibet, where such kind of charging equipment is extremely rare.

The company plans to open its supercharging stations in cities suffering scarcity of supercharging resources, including but not limited to the aforementioned 12 cities.

As of Jan. 17, 2022, XPeng had deployed 813 supercharging stations and 166 destination charging stations in China.

Regarding the accomplishment in improving users' long-distance travelling experience, XPeng is the first carmaker in China to install its supercharging stations through Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and Beijing–Hong Kong–Macau Expressway.

This week, NIO, one of XPeng's main rivals, delivered the 100,000th home charging pile to a user. As of today, NIO Power has deployed the service of home charging pile installation in 321 prefecture-level cities in China.

After the delivery of the ET7 starts, the 7kW and 11kW DC charging pillars will join the product lineup of NIO’s home charging piles, which currently has two types, namely, the 7kW AC and the 20kW DC.
