Shanghai (ZXZC)- Jiangling Motors’ Yuhu EV—the company’s first all-electric vehicle and midsize pickup truck—hits the market with two variants. The price ranges between 248,000 and 268,000 yuan ($35,484-38,345).

The two Yuhu EV trims both come with 66kWh lithium battery packs and permanent magnet synchronous motors, delivering up to 163hp with peak torque of 800N·m. The basic version is able to sport around 320km of NEDC-rated range, while the M1-catrgory trim offers up to 335km of range. The two variants have a top speed of 120km/h. With regard to charging, the new model can be charged up to 80% in 1 hour under fast charging mode while it takes 10 hours under slow charging mode.

The electric pickup, being tough and fierce, retains the exterior design style of the Yuhu 7. The new vehicle has Big Mouth intake grille, looking awesome and powerful. The silver fender at the bottom of the front face, combined with polygonal headlight clusters, lends a wild stance.

At the vehicle’s two sides, the slightly-raised wheel eyebrows and dark gantries add off-road flavor. Large vertical taillights are used at the rear to further show the vehicle's identification. The Yuhu EV gets dark interior with chrome-plated edges of center console and air-conditioners’ vents and its three-spoke multifunction steering wheel to make it more delicate.
