Under the cooperation, ProLogium will empower the startup to use its solid-state lithium ceramic battery (LCB) technology and grant the latter the priority to upgrade cells for higher energy density. Enovate is expected to become the first EV manufacturer that uses solid-state batteries by virtue of the partnership.

Moreover, two companies will team up with more strategic partners to deepen the collaboration in assembly line construction, production planning and technology development.

According to public records, ProLogium launched the world's first solid-state LCB seven years ago and rolled out FLCB (FPC Type LCB), PLCB (Pouch Type LCB) and BLCB (BiPolar Type LCB) in 2013. By the end of November, 2018, the cell maker has got a total of 129 patents issued in China, USA, Korea, Japan, UK and The European Union.

At the Auto Show, Enovate unveiled its ME-S premium sports sedan, which is expected to use solid-state battery with an energy density of up to 750Wh/L. The startup will reportedly release more new models widely covering SUV, sedan and MPV segments over the next five years.
