Shanghai (ZXZC)- On May 7, Borgward announced that the Borgward R&D Silicon Valley Inc. has registered and founded successfully, together with a series of personnel appointments. 

Borgward appointed Mr. Xing Zhou as director of autonomous driving in Borgward R&D Silicon Valley Inc., which will focus on technology R&D and application for Borgward in artificial intelligence (AI) and human-machine interaction. Meanwhile, Borgward also named Yang Song, Borgward's president, as chairman of board of director of the newly-founded R&D center, Huo Jing, director of marketing of Borgward Group AG Sales Company, as executive board of director, and Bai Zhengxian, vice president and director of engineering institute of Borgward, as CEO of the Borgward R&D Silicon Valley Inc.

Recently, with several adjustments of Borgward's personnel, the automaker had basically completed the construction of its new internationalized core talents group. The joining of world-leading talents also boosts Borgward's core competitiveness in technology R&D and marketing. Meanwhile, the registration and found of the Borgward R&D Silicon Valley Inc. indicates that Borgward is accelerating and deepening intelligentized strategy and also boosts the R&D and application of autonomous driving technologies and AI system.
